Known for his vibrant performances, Kartik termed himself as a workaholic, running in a “race with no finish line.” Such an exhausting drive behind his success has left him with little time to reflect on his journey.

The actor spoke about the career journey that started with Pyaar Ka Punchnama, in 2011. Kartik confesses, “I didn’t focus much on having fun, I was completely focused on getting my first film”. Reflecting on his career, he said, “I just went for it; the film released, then the second film didn’t work, and then Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety revived my career, almost like a re-launch.” This rollercoaster of successes and failures has kept him moving forward without a pause for introspection. “Even till today, I haven’t gotten the chance to relax and think.”.
